I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Rehoboth Beach in 2010. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) where I studied psychology and child development. I also have a master’s degree in elementary education from Wilmington University. I was the 2017 Milton Elementary School Teacher of the Year.
When I’m not at school, you might find me riding my bike on the Junction & Breakwater Trail, relaxing with a good book on the beach, or working on a home improvement project with my husband. A few of my other interests include cooking new recipes from other world cuisines and traveling. I am an avid sports fan and love watching the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. I also enjoy running and I have so much fun coaching our school's Girls on the Run team each spring.
