Mr. Holm decided to leave Maryland and his job in the insurance business and go back to school to become a teacher. He left Maryland and attended Plymouth State College in New Hampshire where he also taught for ½ year in a small elementary school with only 68 students. Mr. Holm returned to Maryland after that and started to teach first grade in Baltimore, Maryland where he taught for three years before moving to Sussex County. Shortly after moving here he got a job in the Cape Henlopen school district and has been teaching first, third and fourth grade at Milton Elementary for the last 14 years. He loves coming to school every day and seeing his children smile.
Mr. Holm’s loves his dogs and can’t wait every day to come home and play with them. He enjoys taking his dogs for walks on the beach after the summer crowds have left and cooler weather comes to the beaches. When it is colder, he also loves to bake cupcakes, cookies and make other desserts. Mr. Holm loves most of all seeing his students smile and have fun while learning.
