I earned my Bachelors degree in Human Development from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. While in college I started the Western Equestrian Team and scored Top Ten in the Nation. After earning my undergraduate degree, I taught first grade in the Baltimore City Public School system. A couple years later I moved back home to Delaware and spent the next five years teaching 2nd grade at Woodbridge Early Childhood Education Center. I had the privilege of accepting then earning the title of WECEC’s 2018 Teacher of the Year. Currently, I am a 3rd grade teacher at Milton Elementary where I plan to earn my Master’s in School Leadership and Administration November 2018.
