This is my 17th year of teaching and my third year teaching English Language Arts in the Spanish Immersion Program with my fabulous partner, Señor Jorge Moreno. Teaching is not just my job but my hobby and passion! I can’t imagine feeling so fulfilled by any other profession. I am married to my husband of twenty- three years and have 2 teenage sons. My oldest is a Junior at CAPE and my youngest is a Sophomore at SUSSEX TECH! We love to spend time on the beach, boating, fishing, skiing and riding bikes as a family. I am a CAPE Proud graduate of the class of 1988 and attended PENN STATE University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in 1993. In 1996 I received my Masters with a dual emphasis in Elementary Education and Special Education from Delaware State University. In 2002, I received my Masters in Reading from Wilmington University. I was fortunate to stay home for nine years and raise my boys before returning to the profession I love.
