I teach the English Language Arts side of the Spanish Immersion Program with my fabulous partner, Señor Jorge Moreno. Teaching is not just my job but my hobby and passion! I can’t imagine feeling so fulfilled by any other profession. I am married to my husband of twenty- three years and have 2 teenage sons. My oldest is a Junior at CAPE and my youngest is a Sophomore at SUSSEX TECH! We love to spend time on the beach, boating, fishing, skiing and riding bikes as a family. I am a CAPE Proud graduate of the class of 1988 and attended PENN STATE University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in 1993. In 1996 I received my Masters with a dual emphasis in Elementary Education and Special Education from Delaware State University. In 2002, I received my Masters in Reading from Wilmington University. I was fortunate to stay home for nine years and raise my boys before returning to the profession I love.
